Pause & Recharge: A Wellness Retreat

As the holiday season approaches, carve out some time to reconnect, recharge, and prioritize your well-being. Join us for a rejuvenating Half-Day Wellness Retreat, thoughtfully curated for BIPOC women, in collaboration with Chelsea Athletica. This exclusive event, set for December 15th, is a chance to unwind, renew your energy, and prepare for the season with a clear mind and open heart.

Event Schedule

🕰 12:30 PM - Check-In & Welcome

Arrive, settle in, and enjoy a warm welcome with light refreshments. Ease into the afternoon as you meet fellow participants and prepare for an inspiring journey of wellness.

💪 1:00 PM - Movement Session #1: Strength & Sculpt

Start your retreat with a 60-minute, all-levels strength training class led by Katherine Markhauser, owner and trainer at Chelsea Athletica. Experience her signature Tone class to engage your muscles, release tension, and feel empowered.

🔥 2:00 PM - Movement Session #2: Core & Burn

Continue the afternoon with a 45-minute Burn class—a low-impact mat Pilates session guided by Katherine. Focus on building core stability, glute strength, and upper body endurance, leaving you feeling strong and invigorated.

🍏 3:00 - 4:00 PM - Nourishing Snacks & Social Hour

Take a break and indulge in wholesome snacks while connecting with other like-minded women. Relax, share your stories, and form meaningful bonds within a supportive, uplifting community.

🧘 4:00 PM - Meditation: Finding Calm

Embrace a moment of stillness with a guided meditation led by Jewelia Orlick. Ground yourself, release any lingering stress, and find inner peace during this often hectic time of year.

🔥❄️ 4:30 - 5:30 PM - Sauna & Cold Plunge (Optional)

Round off the day with an optional sauna and cold plunge session. This contrast therapy will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized, ready to step into the holiday season with renewed energy.

Please note that participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue. While we will do our best to connect those who can offer or need carpooling, we cannot guarantee rides for everyone. If you're able to offer a ride or need one, please let us know when you register.
